HopeLand Services specialises in offering accommodation and support services tailored to the needs of looked-after children, single placements, unaccompanied minors, and young care leavers aged 16–25. Our commitment is to create a secure and nurturing environment where children and young people can feel safe and supported.

At HopeLand Services, our approach is young person-focused, aiming to assist each individual in achieving improved outcomes through education, training, and the development of essential life skills. We adopt a holistic ethos, considering the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of the young person in our support initiatives.

We place our young people at the centre of everything we do, continuously striving to introduce methods that support their choices and life decisions. Our goal is to encourage residents to make positive decisions and be integral contributors to our home. The service is dedicated to supporting three core areas:

  • Providing young people with the opportunity to experience domestic life in a shared and supportive environment, resembling a family home.

  • Offering a stable environment for young people without a safe place to live, ensuring a settled atmosphere for at least two years with a support plan to develop essential life skills and achieve economic independence.

  • Offering an assessed need outreach resettlement support service for 3 – 6 months post residential. To help young people who are experiencing for the first time, the responsibilities of maintaining a legal tenancy.

We accept referrals for vulnerable young people aged between 16 – 25 years with emotional and behavioural challenges. Supporting, encouraging and preparing them for independent living. To submit a referral please send an email to info@hopelandservices.com

Our Aims

  • Work with and support local authorities with providing suitable accommodation and access to services for 16 – 25 year olds who are either looked after, care leavers or unaccompanied minors.

  • Accommodate short to long term and emergency placements ranging from low to high support needs.

  • Focus on ensuring that the young person is supported to maintain an independent role in the community, with advice and assistance to access other appropriate support services. Young people will be assisted in self-development and sustainable independence to provide them with the opportunities to develop skills and meet new challenges for life and economic independence

  • Establish local partnerships with relevant agencies i.e. health and education, employment, activities, counselling etc., to enhance their support packages.

  • Support young people to establish themselves in their new environment and integrate into a community and culture that is different from their own.

  • Support every young person to maintain links with their heritage and religious beliefs - with many local places of worship that we identify for each young person.

  • We work with each young person and their social worker to move forward in identifying long term goals by reviewing their pathway plan to achieve these goals.

  • We recruit, train and maintain highly skilled and experienced staff who have a real passion and desire for assisting young people to reach their full potential and help make positive changes in their life.
